Detox To Conceive..
If you’re having trouble conceiving your body may need a detox.
The key to fertility is getting the body into its natural optimum balance, which is often thrown askew by junk food and the stress of modern life. Leading fertility experts believe there are three main factors that reduce fertility: stress, over-acidity in the body and hormonal imbalance.
Fluctuating sugar levels can cause havoc with your hormones, and, just as a seed needs the right acid/alkaline balance in the soil, your eggs need the right environment for conception to take place. Stress leaves the body exhausted and unable to properly cleanse itself.
The ideal answer is a detox at a health spa, but not everyone has the time or money to spend on a stay at a health resort. Those who do should consider it as an aid to conception, those who do not should concentrate on:
- Diet: avoid a diet high in additives, processed food and sugar. To help balance acid/alkaline levels, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, preferably organically grown.
- Combat stress by every means possible: meditation, deep breathing; boost your self-esteem; and sort out any relationship problems.
- Get plenty of sleep to help your body recuperate.
- Exercise: go to a gym, fitness classes, or get an exercise video for home. Exercise will eliminate toxins through sweating, and it will help you to loose weight if that is a problem.
- Take a holiday, and try to time it so that you ovulate in the last few days of the holiday when you are most relaxed.
The best gardeners take care to keep their soil in top condition to give their seeds the best chance of propagating, do the same with your body!

Dealing with acne can be embarassing at any age. Luckily, there are
a number of things you can do everyday to make sure your skin is less
prone to flare ups. Here are five tips for taking control of your
acne starting today.
1. Exercise - Keeping in shape can help fight acne by fighting off
negative stress levels that can come from negative self-esteem and
depression. However, some safeguards need to be in place to ward off
acne that can result from your workout routines. Watch what you put
on your body with regards to clothing, sports gear and equipment.
For example, tight lycra and nylon exercise outfits might look
great in the movies and on magazine models, but if you are
susceptible to acne problems, avoid these synthetic fabrics that tend
to trap in body moisture and heat resulting in a bacteria frenzy.
Instead, choose loose clothing made of cotton or natural blends to
allow more air to get to your skin.
And when you are finished with your workout, get out of clothing wet
from perspiration or water sports. Shower and change into dry, clean
clothing. And keep your sports gear and equipment clean, too. Dirty
headgear, for instance, can irritate forehead areas prone to acne
problems. So toss headbands into the washing machine after workout
sessions.
2. Cosmetics - To avoid pore-clogging and skin irritations that are
similar to acne and that can contribute to acne, use products labeled
noncomedogenic or oil-free. Shimmering facial colors can contain a
flaky mineral called mica that can cause skin irritations and clog
pores. Other additives in coloring that can cause similar reactions
are coal tar derivatives, carmine and heavy cream in blushes.
More preventative measures include using a lip gloss that promotes a
matte finish instead of a high gloss for less pore-clogging; note the
more the shine, the more then comedogenic content and the more the
pores can clog. Beware that eye creams can contain heavier
concentrations of moisturizers than regular creams and lotions,
meaning they have greater potential to clog pores in the surrounding
facial areas.
3. Diet - Studies show that diet does not play a role in either the
cause or the treatment of acne. However, what is recommended for acne
preventative care is this: what is best for your body is best for
your skin, especially since your skin is the largest organ of your
body. So remember to watch your diet and consume healthy vitamins,
minerals and other supplements. This will help to prevent and help
conquer acne breakout.
4. Hygiene - A healthy skin regimen should include no harsh
scrubbing or over-washing, because this can cause possible skin
irritation or possible over production of oil to replace what has
washed off, clogging pores in the process. Products with gentle
exfoliation ingredients are OK to use; i.e. not scratchy nut or fruit
shell pieces that can tear skin. And skip alcohol products when
possible; these can take off the top layer of your skin and cause
your glands to product more oil, clogging pores in the process.
If you do spot acne-troubled areas, do NOT mess with them. Remember
that these are already weeks in the making, and squeezing or picking
blemishes can force the infected area to regress back inside, further
troubling the region and possibly leave a scar. If necessary, seek
help from a dermatologist for alternative treatments.
5. Shaving - Shaving for both genders is actually an excellent way
of exfoliating or removing dead skin to help with the prevention and
spreading of acne instead of leaving the remains to clog pores. And
for some light acne cases already in process, shaving can help rid
whiteheads and blackheads from the face. A word of caution: for areas
with infection or high inflammatory activity (redness, sensitive,
open acne, sores, etc.), do not shave. Or at the very least, use a
shaving cream for sensitive skin!

In our quest to get that “perfect” body, we actually tend to lose our focus on the real things that should matter to us, such as our health and well-being. Thus, we end up not only neglecting our insides but possibly our relationships with others as well. Cutting down on our daily calorie intake does not necessarily assure us of a slimmer waistline and smaller thighs. However, having our calorie-levels set way down low what dieticians actually prescribe is not only sheer shallowness but a cause a lot of ill effects on your health. From mood swings to fainting spells, our bodies tend to give out whatever “distress signals” it can think of just to tell you to stop that mindless way of dieting.
When it comes to dieting, do bear in mind that food is not the enemy - it never was. It’s actually the way we abuse our bodies that can turn everything into a downward spiral. Stop obsessing about what you’ve eaten in a day (or the lack of it) in order to keep yourself fit and healthy you’ll actually need food (with all its vitamin and mineral content) to help you achieve this. Remember, do everything in moderation (especially in dieting).
Unknown to the “anorexic community” who would rather die than actually eat, there are certain vitamins and minerals - that we can get from the right type of food which are actually essential how we’ll be able to convert these nutrients into energy rather than just store them into our thighs and bellies as fat. As much as we try to deny ourselves of the proper amount of food that our bodies need in order for it to run much more efficiently, we actually need a big lifestyle change and make sure to always keep in mind recommended daily levels of vitamins and minerals that our bodies need in order to be healthy and fit.
When it comes to dieting, we must always keep in mind the importance of the Vitamin B complex. This kind of vitamin actually plays an important role in how fast our body can digest the food that we put in and eventually turning it into physical energy. When food is properly digested, our bodies greatly benefit from this because aside from not storing excess fat, being healthy actually makes as more alert and less prone to illnesses. Vitamin B2, B3 and B6 however, are all associated with the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can actually affect the way this gland works in a big, big way. A clear sign of a disruption in how the thyroid gland functions is when our metabolism goes haywire and prevents us from determining the amount and rate of the calories that we burn off.
Another important mineral that we can acquire from actual eating is Zinc, just one of the many minerals that can actually help people with dieting safely. This mineral can actually have an effect on the way our food taste as well as on how we’ll be able to control our appetites. Along with Vitamin A and Vitamin E, Zinc is a mineral that helps people in regulating their thyroid hormones.
It’s also important to note that when it comes to dieting and nutrition concerns, it is really not just the reflection of ourselves that we see on the mirror which should serve as our gauge on whether or not we’re healthy. Dieting can actually be very emotionally stressful and when we lack certain vitamins and minerals it can actually be a small step towards depression. For many people who have weight problems, food actually helps us feel better, even acts as our “security blankets” whenever we’re down on the dumps. Which is why skipping meals or just basically not eating at all is not the way to diet, it’ll not just give you an ulcer but mental illness (depression) as well.
It is also important to keep in mind the big impact that the Vitamin B complex has on our mental health. Deficiencies in the vitamins that make up the B complex can actually result in a series of complications which might lead to a mental illness such as confusion, anxiety, depression, dementia, paranoia and even psychosis. Furthermore, deficiencies in the Vitamin B complex can bring about insomnia which can make any one of those symptoms much worse.
Vitamin C is another vitamin that is important to one’s overall feeling of well-being. Arm yourself with the proper knowledge with regards to how we can greatly benefit from the various vitamins and minerals that we can find in our daily food intake. The production of serotonin and dopamine as well as the maintaining of chemical balance within the brain is a something that can be well regulated with the proper intake of the available nutrients.
Nutrition is especially important to the success of any weight loss diet. Dietary supplements, taken accordingly to the prescribed amount, can be an excellent way to maintain nutrient levels while reducing caloric intake.

Protect your family from solar flares. Solar flares emit dangerous gamma radiation, which affects everything from gravity waves to the Earth’s tectonic system. These solar flares are dangerous to human life. The Gamma Radiation is dangerous to the human bio system. Many severe solar flares can cause cancer and It heats up the atmosphere and can drastically change weather patterns too. We have had some serious solar flares in the last few years, which have affected our lives. Some say that Earthquakes are in part due to the disruption of the natural electromagnetic distribution of the Earth along with causing disruptions in gravity waves.
One group of scientists and future prediction study group is calling for a huge solar flare which could kill 2 billion humans if it occurs on the side of the sun where they Earth is passing thru. That is pretty drastic indeed. It could cause massive seismic activity, cook you alive or kill all the crops and many might starve. These scientists and remote viewer people are not anyone you wish to quote in the mass media. We know as the sun gets older and perhaps within ten billion years the sun will expand and cook the Earth before it burns out. This would be a very bad day for Earthlings indeed.
How can you protect your family from solar flares of such extreme magnitude? There are many ways actually. NASA has done many studies to protect astronauts in the International Space Station and Space Shuttle. Our Satellites have lots of protection. Luckily we have a strong atmosphere protecting life on Earth, but there are ways as shown by NASA to do even better. One could use a dense material on the roof. Titanium or lead; one might also use water tanks which block out such solar radiation. For instance put swimming pool on your roof or build a water collection device for rain and leave it on the roof under a cover so it does not evaporate. You could use it to grow plants and it might help the nearby smog and air pollution issues.
You could buy a nano carbon material sheet, which is very dense and it will block out most all of the gamma radiation. Bend it over your bed and simply sleep in during the sunlight period that day. You will be protecting your self and your family from cancer causing radiation. No sense in getting skin cancer due to a one or two day solar flare problem? You might wish to be thinking of ways to protect you and your family from solar flares while you are at home. Think on this.

There is no question that most scientists today will be skeptical
of Dr. Price’s research, claiming his results to be anecdotal-
that his reports and stories are derived from his own personal
beliefs and prejudices.
Double blind studies, designed to prevent such misinterpretations, were not known or used at the time of the Price research.
Although Dr. Price knew nothing of such procedures, he was acutely aware of the possibilities of his investigations’ being influenced by his own feelings and pas experiences.
It was his consciousness of such a possibility which led to his
repeating studies so many times, in so many different ways, and
using so many animals.
For example, when a rabbit became ill and died of a specific
illness, he would replant the same tooth in numbers of other
animals to verify whether or not the same illness would be
repeated.
With several types of infections, he transferred the patient’s
tooth into 30 rabbits in succession, and in one series of
experiments he repeated the process in 100 animals. In all
instances, the disease being investigated reoccurred.
It was pointed out in this chapter that when healthy teeth
extracted for orthodontic purposes or impacted wisdom teeth
were implanted, nothing harmful happened to the rabbits.
Implanted sterile coins, glass and other items produced
no harm to the animals. These tests were carried out 100 times
to rule out possible error.
The most startling study was one in which an infected tooth
has removed from a rabbit which had dies of a patient’s illness.
In this case, the tooth was washed and pumiced and then placed
in boiling water for one hour.
This tooth, when imbedded in another rabbit, resulted in the
rabbit’s dying in 22 days.
Even more amazing was an even more stringent investigation.
Teeth which had been implanted in rabbits several times, causing
illness and death, were subjected to hospital autoclave
temperatures and pressures of 30 pounds and 60 pounds for one
hour. An additional test was carried out at 300 pounds pressure
for 2 hours. Still, when those teeth were imbedded in rabbits,
the animals lost weight, developed blood changes and died - not
so rapidly, but in 35 days.
Studies were undertaken to determine if the deaths were occurring
because of infection from bacteria. In these studies, root filled
teeth were crushed and washed, and the washings were passed through a Berkefeld filter - a method which removes all bacteria. The remaining solution was then subjected to culturing to prove all bacteria had been successfully remvoved from the solution.
When this solution was inoculated into rabbits, it caused them
to decline; their ionic calcium was lowered, loss of weight took
places, and death occurred in a few weeks.

The Term:
Historically, the term “Kung Fu” is not really featured in any ancient texts. It was first coined by a Frenchman named Jean Joseph Marie Amiot, a missionary who lived in the 18th Century, in reference to Chinese martial arts. Kung Fu is also called Gongfu, Wushu, or Kuoshu, and originally denotes expertise in any skill, and not exclusive to martial arts.
Brief History:
The practice, philosophy, and concept of Kung Fu can be traced back to ancient Chinese texts such as Zhuang Zi, Dao De Jing, and Sun Zi Bing Fa (Art of War written by Sun Zi), all written between 1111-255 BC. These texts contain passages related to the practice, propagation, and principles of Chinese martial arts, or Kung Fu as it is known today.
One theory regarding the first written history of Kung Fu suggests that the Yellow Emperor, who reigned from 2698 BC, wrote the first treatise on Chinese martial arts. Others give credit to Taoist monks for introducing an art form that resemble modern Tai Chi around 500 BC. Then in 39-92 AD, Pan Ku included “Six Chapters of Hand Fighting” in his discourse on the history of the Han dynasty (Han Shu). As the popularity of martial arts progressed, a physician named Hua T’uo also wrote his own treatise entitled, “Five Animals Play” in 220 AD.
Kung Fu had become a common word in the West beginning in the late 1960s, popularized by martial arts movies and TV series. The Western world today has also seen an immense upsurge in the creation and production of martial arts movies starring great actors/masters such as Jackie Chan and Jet Li.
Basic Principles:
The concept of Kung Fu revolves around three basic principles - Motivation, Self-discipline and Time.
According to experts, the real motivation behind learning Kung Fu is inspiration and not force, which should come from an inner craving to learn and develop the mind and body. Motivation here is the fundamental driving force. There is no external or worldly gain for the learner, and the only reward is that of knowledge, skill, strength and wisdom.
In Kung Fu, discipline is complementary to motivation. Discipline puts motivation into deed and action. A learner has to make an effort into what he has been motivated for, and self-discipline helps him get started and guides him to achieve that goal. Therefore, without discipline, motivation is just a dormant state of mind.
Time is the path to perfection in martial arts. Once motivation and self-discipline have set in, a learner has to spend a considerable amount of time putting mind and body into practice. A truly inspired learner does not have the privilege to waste time, stay idle or indulge in fruitless activities. Everything done by him/her should reflect real motivation and self-discipline.
Variants and Styles:
With the passage of time, numerous variants and styles have come up in martial arts, or Kung Fu. Some of the more popular ones include Karate, Escrima, Wing Chun, Jujitsu, Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Shaolin, White Crane, T’ai Chi Ch’uan, and Bagua Zhang.
Martial Arts HQ offers articles, tips and tricks about different martial arts.
