Chamonix Mont Blanc France is a one of a kind holiday destination with the impressive Monte Bianco and tumbling glaciers. We enjoy going canyoning or sometimes visiting the Aiguille du Midi. I normally catch a plane from Upland and stay at a Chamonix catered chalet for the duration of my stay.
I used to stayed in The Metropolitan Hotel Hilton Head unfortunately it sometimes didn’t live up to its description: This property is ideally located in the heart of exclusive Hilton Head Island. Just 3 minutes from the beach, near fine dining, shopping, tennis and world class golf. Guests are spoiled with hospitality and every modern convenience like microwaves, refrigerators and coffee makers in each of the 140 rooms. The property offers four distinctive categories of lodging: Sabal Palm Rooms, Majesty Palm Rooms, Royal Palm Rooms and the ultimate Royal Palm Luxury Suites. Guests can enjoy cocktails and a nice meal in the restaurant and bar. If your passion is shopping, playing 18-holes or just relaxing along our endless ivory beaches, Hilton Head Plaza has that and much more!
In comparison in Chamonix France the self catered chalet is nearly always fine. Furthermore dining out in my preferred French restaurant, City Limits, scoffing golden corral bourbon chicken is a treat. Chamonix Mont Blanc is a large enough place to insure that there is lots of things for the snowboarder to do. Including a sports and swimming complex and a plethora of shops, Chamonix offers a choice of climbing, old town charm and sightseeing which not many resorts can beat.

There are a lot of people who are dissatisfied with one area or another of their body. You will often hear these people saying things like, “I need to get rid of this stomach” or “I need an exercise that will slim my thighs down”.
The premise behind these types of statements is that you can lose excess fat in any one given area on your body without affecting any other part of your body. Maybe if you just knew the right exercise to do, you could lose the fat in just the area you want to lose it in.
The plain and simple truth is; there is no such thing as localized fat loss. When you do a specific exercise for a specific part of your body, the muscles of that particular body part will develop and get stronger and grow bigger, but it will do nothing for getting rid of the fat in the area.
Usually the reason people who do exercise get stronger but do not visually see the muscle development is because the excess fat is still covering the muscles.
Here are the facts about the spot reducing myth:
Physiologically speaking, muscle tissue is always firm. Muscle only feels like it not firm because of the presence of too much fat. Body parts that do not look toned simply have too much fat covering them. People are genetically predisposed to carry more fat in certain areas of their bodies, thus accounting for the extra buildup in these areas.
When you want to lose body fat, you must create a calorie deficit within your body. This means that you will have to consume less calories than you burn throughout the day.
While you will typically seem to notice more rapid fat loss in your “trouble spots”, you will actually be losing fat from your whole body because when your body goes into fat burning mode, it can not select different areas to do it from.
When you start to lose body fat, it is genetically determined where the most rapid loss will occur first. Areas that do not store as much body fat will only have so much to lose, so you will see more fat loss in the harder spots as you go.
Despite the popular saying, it is impossible to turn fat into muscle. They are made up of completely different types of cells and one can not convert into the other. You can only lose fat and replace it with increased muscle size.
Also, you can not firm up fat, nor can you firm up muscle. Fat and muscle cells are what they are, and you can’t change their composition. Simply put, softer muscle = more fat present and harder muscle = less fat present.
Muscle tone is simply the visual appearance of muscle in the absence of fat. Sensible eating coupled with moderate exercise will help take off any extra fat, even from trouble areas.
Just because you can’t “spot reduce” does not mean you can’t lose the fat in those areas. You just need to make the little changes in your eating habits and introduce a little exercise into your life that will make getting rid of that stubborn fat a reality.

Naturally, the first and most important criteria is to find a doctor who is familiar with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. One of the problems of CFS is that its symptoms can be so similar to other illnesses such as autoimmune illnesses, cancer, hepatitis, diabetes, and so forth. So, if you do not have a doctor that is CFS knowledgeable, you may not be diagnosed correctly and could lose out on getting treatments that would benefit you.
Your best source for finding doctors in your area who are familiar with FCS is a support group as its members can tell you which doctors they are using that are CFS knowledgeable and have been helpful. If you cannot find a local CFS support group, you will need to contact one of the national organizations and ask how to contact a support group in your area.
If there are no CFS- knowledgeable doctors in your area, you may have to find an out-of-town specialist. Such specialists may be listed in the newsletter of your national CFS organization.
If you like your own doctor and he or she is sympathetic but not knowledgeable about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, you might find some medical articles which discuss CFS treatments and give them to your doctor to review.

Weight loss can be one of the most difficult things to accomplish. Today’s media and the marketplace can sometimes make the effort of weight loss even harder. Like it or not most societies in the developed countries are heavily motivated by the media. Television, radio, newspapers, direct mail, and the Internet all contribute heavily to our beliefs, our attitudes and ultimately our actions. So, when it comes to weight loss, how do you determine the right solution for your situation? Who do you believe and who do you discount?
Are we as a society obsessed with weight loss? Or, is there truly reason to take notice and lose a few pounds? While there are some people, especially females during the teenage years, who take weight loss to the extremes, for most of us losing some weight would be the healthy thing to do.
It’s no secret that “thin is in”, yet turn on the news channel and you’ll see where researchers are finding more and more of our youth are obese and more and more adults as well as children are being diagnosed with the chronic disease of Type 2 diabetes, often as a result of obesity. We see hear that thin is better, yet we keep getting bigger and bigger. What’s the reason?
The reasons are many. Primarily, our activity levels don’t match the amount of food we eat. We are constantly being bombarded with quick food and lots of occasions to eat. For example, some friends invite you over. The chances are slim that there won’t be food involved. You go to a sports event. What’s on your mind besides the game? Food! Somehow, we have become conditioned to equate food with socializing. While that’s not necessarily a bad thing, the amount of food we consume at these parties and events often times are a bad thing. If you are trying to lose weight, whenever you eat, remember; don’t eat more than you will be active enough to use! Let’s face it! Watching the Super Bowl on television is far less energy focused, than the guys playing in the game. They’re usually drinking Gatorade, we’re eating everything in site.
Were The Cavemen Fat?
Consider this: Our forefathers were constantly working to simply survive. The men were farming, hunting, and fishing for food. The women were busy preparing, the food, and the clothing as well as raising the children. There was constant activity without an overabundance of food. Our bodies were not designed to be sedentary. Yet, today with technological advances, and the average lifestyles we live, our activity levels have all but disappeared.
Let’s explore this a bit further… We get up in the morning, jump in the shower, drive a car or catch the subway or bus to work, grab some food at the fast food place for lunch, come home pop in a frozen dinner, plop down on the sofa, turn on the TV and our day is done. Compare that to the days of old. First off, you had to draw the water for the shower, then you had to fire the stove to stay warm and to cook( the food was hunted and grown by hand). If you left your home for work, walking was a major way of transportation,…Need I say more? Our bodies haven’t evolved to the point to where activity is not necessary. Yet, we are the least active of any society since mankind was placed on this earth. Food must be matched with activity. To lose weight, you must consume less food than the body needs. That’s about the only way you’ll burn off any fat.
Steps to Losing Weight
Enough preaching about activity. You want to lose weight and have more energy. First, I strongly suggest if you have more than a few pounds to lose, see your physician before you begin any weight loss plan. There are some medications, and diseases that can contribute to weight gain. If you know the facts before you begin you’ll be able to better determine the best method for your weight loss.
Secondly, as you think about losing weight, carefully and honestly evaluate your current situation. Is it just a few pounds, say 5 or 10 you want to lose? Maybe it’s 20 to 30? These amounts usually can safely be lost without the help of health professionals. If you need to lose 50 or more pounds, I strongly suggest you see your physician before you begin any weight loss plan.
Next, you need to evaluate why you’ve gained the weight. There are many reasons people gain weight. Some eat more than they need as a mental pick-me-up. Some eat because they have nothing else to do. Others don’t really overeat, they simply make the wrong choices of what they eat. Then there’s those of us who have put on a few pounds each year and now all of a sudden, nothing fits anymore. Whatever the case, you can lose the weight. It will take the right attitude, level of commitment and the right actions. Yes, there are plenty of diets and pills available to help you along the way. They aren’t all bad, but do keep in mind that unless permanent lifestyle changes are made, the weight will come back when you stop the diets and the pills.
Diets and Pills
There are almost as many weight loss methods and diet pills available as there are people who want to lose weight.
There are diet pills that stop your hunger so you eat less and burn more fat. There are diet pills that cause the body not to metabolize all the food you eat, so it’s passed out of your system and not stored as fat. Then there’s the combination of these two. As you begin your search for the perfect diet pill, be careful as some can have harmful effects on your body.
Diet Pills work by shifting levels of brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) that control satiety (fullness) and desire for food. Some also slightly increase your metabolic rate - the rate at which your body burns calories.
Examples of weight loss diet pills include:
Diethylpropion hydrochloride (eg. Tenuate)
Mazindol (eg. Mazanor, Sanorex)
Phendimetrazine tartrate (eg. Bontril)
Phentermine hydrochloride (eg. Adipex-P, Ionamin)
All these can be used to help with weight loss. Be careful of pills containing ephedra, or caffeine. These can have negative and sometimes even deadly effects on the body. Use with caution.
Three Steps
Whatever method you choose to help you lose weight, here’s three steps that will help.
Evaluate your situation and reasons behind the weight gain honestly. Sometimes it’s difficult to accept the true facts about why we’ve gained weight, only by realizing and accepting the truth can you being to deal with it using a positive attitude.
Make sure your attitude is positive about the changes you make. Don’t dread the changes or say things like I hate not eating the cake…. Instead whenever you have one of those kinds of thoughts think about how much happier you will be with your new slimmer body.
Visualize the positive effects your good actions are having. Get a mental image of the “new you.” Whenever you’re tempted not to be active or to eat the wrong things, picture the “new you” you will be if you overcome the temptation.
Don’t believe the magical ads. You can’t keep doing the same things, and expect something different to happen. You can use products to assist you with weight loss, but ultimately you must be in control for the weight to stay off without taking the diet pills.

Terrel Owens was welcomed as a movie star for a crowded of reporters before his first training with the Cowboys, fact that probably made him feel like he was entering with honors to the team.
On the 15 minutes interview he affirmed that he is very happy with the new coach and he is just waiting to make the team win and he will show his best during training.
The training duration was approximately two hours where he cached almost all the passes he was sent. This is his first training on the NFL after being expulsed by the Philadelphia Eagles 7 months ago.
Owen attacked in many occasions the cornerback Anthony Henry who was hired to cover receptors as biggest as Owen, ironic isn’t it!
Probably, the coach was impressed with the new receptor but he didn’t mention it, he did not want to say anything about Owen, however, he answered each of the questions he was asked.
All of his teammates are aware of Owen’s professionalism and they hope he keeps up that same attitude through out the season.

Online shopping has increased in popularity the last few years and it will continue to increase in popularity as time goes on. Even with the that said, many people are still reluctant to purchase goods online for many different reasons. Some of them being high shipping costs, fear of credit card theft and lack of security. Below I will list 5 reasons why people that are not shopping online should start.
1. Lower prices. Due to the fact that e-commerce store owners have lower operating costs, they can often offer products at a lower cost than brick and mortar retailers.
2. Free shipping. Many websites offer free shipping on purchases over a certain amount to be competitive.
3. Larger selections. On the internet you can find a lot of items that you would not see at your local retail stores.
4. Convenience. Shopping online is a lot more convenient, especially around the holidays. You do not have to worry about finding a parking space or fighting through crowds and long lines.
5. The internet is safe. there are a lot of things that shoppers can do to insure that their credit card information is being sent successfully. If the padlock at the bottom of the screen is locked, that means the website is secure. Also many websites use third-party companies to verify that they are safe.

Around the middle of June each year, a curious phenomenon starts to take place around Britain. As the sun fattens in the sky and the air temperature rises, the huddled masses of merry England start to emerge, blinking, from their winter torpor and gear up for the short-lived annual heyday that is British summer!
Perhaps it is our habitual resignation to the gloom and drizzle that makes up two thirds (in a good year) of our annual weather that provokes this curious change in us as a nation, perhaps the heat affects the functioning of our brains. Whatever the cause, one thing is for certain; the British, in our admittedly mild and somewhat reserved way, go crazy for summer. Ok, not paint your ears blue and run naked through the shopping centre screaming for custard crazy, but as the sunshine hours increase and we start shedding the layers our national eye starts to twinkle that little more brightly, our heart to dance a little antic hey, and a subtle, full moon character shift takes us in its gentle grip. Grey complexioned office drones gain a little of the latin lothario; tweedy librarians, unfastening the top buttons of their pussy-bow blouses lean a little closer to their dreams of glamorous tropical shores; po-faced bartenders segue seamlessly into relaxed and gregarious hosts. Hem lines and blood pressure rise with the thermometer’s mercury and the cocktail hour gets earlier by the day.
With the spirit of summer tangible in the air; this time of year is the perfect for falling in love and indeed, large numbers of romances do blossom at this time of year. Want proof, just think about how many of your friends have birthdays between March and May and then do the maths! But how many of these new romances will stand the test of time and how many blow away with the first breath of autumn?
We asked number of people for their thoughts on summer romances; here’s what they had to say:
“I’ve had a holiday fling or two, once with a gorgeous lifeguard in Majorca but never anything I’d have wanted to carry on longer-term.” - Jodie Hill, 22, student
“My current boyfriend and I got together in the early summer last year and we’re still going strong.” - Maria Crabtree, 29, folklorist
“I’ve had summer romances, sure, but they never last. You want a different kind of woman in the summer, a glamour and bikinis kind. Winter times are more about having someone cosy around to snuggle up to.” - Anders van Hoogstraat, 35, tourist
“I met Ralph in the summer of 1942 when he was home on leave. We had a whirlwind romance and were married three days before he went back to war. We were happily married for 58 years.” - Mary Walton, 84, retired shopworker
It seems that summer romances can in fact be durable and long-lived, so as the sun’s shining outside and the weather is warm, I’m off to paint my ears blue. Now, what’s the quickest route to the shopping centre?

Of course, the phrase “Best Case Scenario” is the positive opposite of the popular phrase “Worst Case Scenario.”
I’m not an advocate of spending much time developing worst case scenarios. In my view, it’s sometimes helpful to identify them and then look for effective and efficient ways to manage or respond to them. For example, those responding to emergency situations need to be trained. In this example, when the emphasis is on the training rather than the emergency, then it’s constructive.
If knowing what you’ll do in a particular situation helps you to feel more empowered, it’s a constructive exercise. If the situation produces anxiety, then it’s important to find ways to perceive it so that you feel more empowered.
When you worry about someone or something, you use your imagery or imagination. Worry involves creating stories that are negative (worst case scenarios). While the intention may be honorable, it strengthens the possibility of creating the very situation you do not want.
When you fear the worst, you put out an image that is potent. The stronger the fear, the more likely you will create what you imagine. You can, of course, use a “worst case scenario” as a vehicle for creativity and empowerment, without energizing it with worry and over-analysis.
Where is your attention: on the worst case scenario, on feeling empowered in a worst case scenario, or on the best case scenario? In each situation, you choose.

Crewed motor yachts are yachts that you charter for a vacation without needing to have any sailing experience. With the crewed charters, you don’t have to do any work in handling the yacht or navigating the waters of the location you choose. You can choose to have a luxury charter where you have exquisite surroundings and meals prepared by a chef. Waiters bring you drinks and the members of the crew will provide instructions for water sports if you need any. Crewed motor yachts range in size from yachts that can only take 2 passengers to ones that can take up to 12 or more.
A crewed motor yacht charter is an excellent choice for a family vacation. Children are welcome on these yacht charters, but none of the crew will be assigned to looking after them, even with luxury motor yacht charter. Parents are expected to keep the children entertained and to bring whatever they need for enjoyment aboard with them. Crewed motor yachts are perfectly safe for children, but like any location, you do need to keep them within your sight at all times.
When you choose a luxury motor yacht charter, you have a personal chef to prepare your meals. However, before you arrive to meet the yacht, you will already have informed the company about your food preferences through the food preference sheet. This sheet also includes a list of beverages for you to choose from, which include soda, wines and alcoholic beverages. The chefs of crewed motor yachts take great care to prepare meals that you will enjoy and only use the freshest ingredients. In the case of fruits and vegetables, the chef of a crewed motor yacht charter may buy foods at the various locations.
Whether or not you experience any seasickness on crewed yacht charters depends on you. It is probably a good idea to take some form of seasickness medication with you so that you can thoroughly enjoy being on a luxury motor yacht. If you are new to vacationing on a crewed motor yacht charter, be sure to let the crew know so they can choose routes that will cause you less discomfort. If you smoke, you will have to limit your habit to the outside areas of the yacht. Since the interior of the yacht consists of close quarters, yacht charter companies do not permit smoking inside.
With crewed motor yachts you have comfort and style. You do not have to bring anything with you and all the linens, dishes and utensils are there for you to use. Both the exterior and interior of these yachts are roomy so you can sit back and enjoy the charter in comfort. You don’t have to worry about the wind because the motor will take you to your destination on time. You can enjoy air-conditioning with luxury motor yacht charters, although most of the charter yachts do have this feature included. Depending on the location and type of charter, some crewed charter yachts include scuba diving equipment, kayaks and other equipment you would need to enjoy a variety of water sports.
To find out more about Yacht Charters visit Peter’s Website Your Sailing Vacation and find out about Crewed Yacht Charters and more, including Caribbean Yacht Charters, Luxury Yacht Charters, Bareboat Charters and Florida Charters.
